I have searched around and I have been unable to find a good match for a subwoofer amp that meets my requirements. I would like to find a DIY plan for a class ab amp that will output 400-500 watts continuous. This will be used to power a small sealed enclosure that will be eq'ed a bit to offset the natural roll off of the enclosure. I like the idea of Krell clones but they appear to be much to large, to expensive for this roll, and are class A which is really not what I want for this application. Any ideas?

Sakis - thanks for the suggestion. 300 watts is in the ball park and I will look into this if I can't find anything larger that is feasible. I suppose I can adjust my enclosure parameters and driver choice to use a little less power if need be.
