SUMO Polaris Class A/B Stereo Power AMP (New to the Board)

This is my first post here, so hello to everyone.
I do a lot of Audio Recording in the live and studio environment.
I regularly post at taperssection.com

Several years ago i purchased a SUMO / Polaris A/B Stereo Power Amp off of EBAY with great expectations. However when i received it one channel was dead. With a very busy schedule and way too many active hobbies i just got around to working on the amp.

First thing i did was to open up the unit check and replace fuses and bam, one side tripped. I then did some checking and realized i was not as good at trouble shooting as i once was. (yes of course i did NOT plug the amp in without putting a dummy load on the output) Anyway i took it to a shop and it needs several new output transistors on one channel. With the cost of the transistors as much as i have already put into the amp i decided not to fix it.

So here is the bottom line: I am about to sell this thing once again on EBAY and i was wondering if anyone here had any better ideas. This is a very nice amp and i figure someone out there must have one that may need parts or someone may want a spare or a project unit.
When i was looking for info on this unit i was directed to this board and i did find several discussion's on them here.\

I am not familiar with SUMO.
But I have seen this brand mentioned at forum before.

What is the Model number or whatever?
From SUMO amplifiers ...

The Polaris 1st edition dates back to the beginning of the 1980s.

The choice of both opamp and output MOSFETs of the Polaris design reminds of the works of a British designer.
The same bloke accidently started his UK based business in 1982.
Fact or fiction ?
