Hi, I'm planning to build a 450w power amp using 8 lm3886 Ic's. The question is, how do I select the proper Transformer and capacitance values for this aplication. Using the data sheets I've estimated that the power consumption of the amp at full power is about 780 watts (Vcc -/+ 35v). Using a transfomer with a 26-0-26 secondary I will have the right voltage (I think), but I'm not sure about the current rating. Can anyone help me?
