i am trying to evaluate a good bypass cap for PSU.
the capacitors choosen on the PSU are the Black gate Std.
I have read so far that there is controvery on bypassing BG as the majority of the film caps will detrate the overall sound but few exceptions like Vitamin-Q.
The problem is that i have different sections and thus i can't efford spending an extra $230 for vitamin-Q or Auricaps.
I was evaluating lower range scale if the Mundorf MCap or the same Blackgate NX 0.47uF would be a good choice.
I was thinking to bypass the BGs but only add the classic 0.47uF on board (i have an external PSU) to filter disturbances.
The other bypasses will be fit at the variosu bases of cascode device thus quality i guess will be more relevant here.
any advice sharing experience will be very welcome.
