I have searched the forum, but cannot find an answer to my problem.
I wired up a three way Goldpoint stereo selector switch to select the source for my power amp. The switch is break before make and I am switching both the signal and ground wires.
My problem is I get a loud pop when I switch from one source to another. I'm sure if I tied the grounds together that would solve my problem, but I have read that switching both the signal and ground is the proper way to do a selector switch.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've appreciated reading your posts on the John Curl Thread.
Thanks!
As soon as the majority of modern equipment have around 100K inputs I assume 470K will add inaudible losses.
