Have been offered one of these , but have never previously heard of it. Looked through a few post's on here , looks encouraging so far , would appreciate views & oppinions on it by users please.

The price has dropped on these recently, along with everything else.
Most (but not all) of the Mk 2s had bypass caps on the power supply caps. If yours does not, it is an easy enough modification. It will make the bass response a bit more solid and clean sounding. I use these on my bass bins and they sound fine. If your speakers are presenting a low impedance or are inefficient, then you may want to replace the transformer with something larger in VA. IIRC, the transformer is 55-0-55, but don't rely on my memory.

For the money, these are an excellent bargain.

Good Luck
