adcom gfa555 question

I have a gfa 555 that I am "refreshing" and have a question about the configuration of my amp.
All of the images that i can find have the input connectors mounted horizontally.
My amp has them mounted vertically.

There does not seem to be any part number on the input board and i find the input board has slight differences from the service manual schematic.

So the question is, were there different versions of the 555?
and what are the differences if any?

I have 3 of these on the "project" rack. 2 of them have the RCA input connectors horizontal while the third has them vertical.

Judging from the serial number, the "vertical" one seems to be made earlier than the other two. Also, it has the bridge selector as a slide switch instead of the miniature toggle in the other two. I haven't got around to fixing the "vertical" one as yet, but will let you know what I find out when I open the hood.

My mistake earlier the inputs are mounted horizontally and all the pictures I can find are vertical

The serial # of my amp is 6709.
