I've seen some discussion on stereo and mono but very little on multi-channel. If you were designing an amplifier module for use in a multi-channel system with unbalanced inputs (e.g. HT), what strategy would you employ for ground lift (do it on each amplifier channel, do it once by ganging all the input signal grounds where they enter the box etc) ?
I think it's safe to assume that there would be a lot of cases where only a single-source is involved (in my case a Blue-Ray player).

please don't use the term ground lift.
It implies that the Audio Ground is not connected to the Safety Earth. Where are your speakers in your HT layout? I think each of your amplifiers should be next to the speaker it is driving. That removes the need for your question.
