Default hassles with 15" PA speaker

our church has 2 warfedale pro speakers, can't recall the name of the amp at the moment. the fuse for the tweeter on one speaker keeps blowing, and not so long ago, the output transistors on the amp went and took one speaker with it! which we had repaired.

i don't understand why there has always been problems with only that channel, the other channel and speaker have worked fine, never giving any problems.

is there anything i can check???

Dan, I've moved this over to solid state as it seems to be a question about your amp, not the speaker.

It could be a problem with the amp, but it could also be feedback causing oscillation at some supersonic frequency. Either through a microphone or through a induction loop for hearing aids. Do you have one of those? They tend to induce signals where you don't want them too

thanks Cal

if it was feedback, how come it only blows the fuse on one speaker???

also, being a church, we do have some older folk who may do some damage in the mornings
