Good day Sir, any one out there can give a comparison between JLH and this ZCA by Mr. Mark Houston? Technical and non-technical are most welcome. Im currently using JLH built 3yrs ago, idling at 1.5 amps, i learned to live with the heat it gives (ouch!) but if convinced, i might try building this ZCA and planning to utilise the heater terminals of 5y3gt tubes, (i got 2 of them) as load resistors. Many thanks in advance

Hi Efren,
Don't waste those tubes for that. Why not look for a light bulb of the required wattage, or better yet - a constant current source. The CCS is sure to give you lower distortion and better sound. Just a helpful hint. Those tubes can be put to far better uses. -Chris
