However, having worked for a trade magazine publisher, I would *never* 'sign up' with one just to read a couple papers.

Any chance you could email the paper(s) to me?

It's perfectly legal for them to do, and in many cases they are exempt from 'do not call' telephone marketer registry limitations, as are newspapers. Read the CMP "privacy" policy on that website.)
