Default Hard core tubeist blaspheme..

Hi, I am using tubes and irons all over my system. But as a preacher of not judging without hearing yourself, I am willing to try the “sand way” for comparison
Which diy design (power amp) do you suggest to match a high efficiency system?
Pass, Hiraga etc
I am using Zu Audio druids (101dB/W, 10” wideband transducer with 15kHz super tweeter)

For high efficiencey there are some really nice amps out there:

from Nelson Pass:

First Watt F3: a single jfet gainstage amp
or the classic Aleph30

both really shine with high efficiency/high impedance speakers.

John Linsley Hood's JLH comes also to mind!

Just do a little search

Have fun, Hannes

You could try here...

However maybe a hybrid will be good for you: maybe a CCS loaded 6H30 (bias about 3V, anode standing current about 25mA) capacitor coupled to a solid state output buffer such as this one...
