Hello everyone,
Just bought this preamp on ebay as a non-working unit. It powers up, everything lights and works, but when a source is connected to either the AUX ou TUNER inputs, there's no sound. The tape inputs, both TAPE 1 and TAPE 2 work fine. I currently don't have the schematics. My guess is that it could be either a bad solder joint or a transistor? Can I test the transistors in the circuit or should I take them all? Sorry for the limited knowledge, any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
Check that the tape monitor is not engaged and that a permanent out-in loop (e.g. for a equaliser) is either bypassed or connected. |

Already did. The tape input is fine, when I disengage the tape loop and select to either tuner or aux, it does not work.
