Hi, does anyone have this preamp/tuner and has done any mods for it? Musical Concepts has a mod for this, called GTX mod, for $229. I am wondering if there are mods that I can do myself to improve the sound. The pre sounds grainy and flat sounding. I would like a more open, tube like sound if that is even possible, does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve the sound?
