Hi,
I've got the opportunity to buy a Luxman 507s. Its around 9 years old in mint condition. I've searched the net, but there's not much information about this amp.
I like to run our full range audio drivers on a variety of amplification so I'm keen to know more about this model.
Any information and opinion is much welcomed.
Thanks
Mark.

It sure looks pretty... current versions that look like this one are getting very good reviews. If the price is good i'd grab it... it certainly should be a top notch representive a specific portion of the audio amplifier spectrum it sits in.
All i could find on the net is this http://www.kogerer.ru/subj/507s.html
Does it have a 116/220 V switch?

Hi Bonsai & Dave- Ummmmph - its that good.
I can get it for around $1,500 USD, looks very good at this price. Thinking what else is available at the price.
My current collection is:
Tube:
Im currently running Alpair 5 and 6 in BR test boxes with:
Brian Cherry's Joplin (4X 2a4 DHT) converted to power amp. A few cap upgrades and other bits:

Spark SC1 pre-amp - 1st generation pre from Spark, later known as Cayin. (I like this pre.)
Solid
A. Y. Denshi - Japan, custom built 10 watt, sweet delicate sound running the Alps 5 and 6

Sansui Au a907Dr - fine solid state - operating in direct function. Running CHR-70 and Alpair 10
I try not to move it, kills my back as it weighs 33Kg.

Source side is
Denon DCD 3000 CD + one of Derek Shek's DAC's (Phillips 1543 chip) . Also learning to use Apple Lossless (with Advice from Dave and others - thanks)
I'm in need of running more amp configurations as try outs on the various drivers in different cab designs + driver prototypes (if only there 48 hours in a day!)
All suggestions welcomed.
Thanks
Mark.

That's a beautiful piece. Too bad that amp weighs as much as a bar fridge.
