Can we improve this low distortion sine oscillator ?

<0.003% distortion and 0.1% amplitude stability, you will need to change some passives to get 1khz.

I built it as a 500hz sine source (yeah, 1khz would have made more sense!) from bits I had around and it sounds and looks (on a scope) very pure. I used polystyrene capacitors. Used for testing max power output from an amp and checking for any obvious distortion or ringing.

The AGC loop looks stupid. Thanks God you you can't measure the spectral purity of this oscillator. Otherwise, I'm sure it sounds as good as any ppb distortion oscillator.

Any resemblance to the Bateman article is purely coincidental
