Some said that some Class AB amplifiers are better than some Class A amplifiers, but unfortunately I’ve never heard a Class AB as enjoyable as Class A amplifiers.
Beside a tube amp and an Aleph (clone), currently I’m using Mini Crescendo (2SK135/J50) and Darlington MJ11015/16 Class AB amplifiers. I want to build a good looking solid state class-AB amp (I don’t have the tools for constructing the Class A heatsink) but good sounding as well. I need the amp to rival/replace the Aleph. I don’t have a credit card, so a recommended schematic is all I need (IGBT may be?). What is your recommendation? |

Hi,
If you were to buy an amp I'd reccommend the White Noise Mos 250, it can be biased quite high, so you get some class a performance as well. Sounds awesome. Thanks Raj |
