Hello!
I have two QUAD 909 Mono amps that I would like to convert from 220V (Kina), to 230-240V (EC) (I'm not shure if it's required because the voltage in my house is 230V). The main transformer have 4 wires on the primary side (Black, Brown, Blue and White). Black and Brown are connected to the swich/fuse and the Blue and White are connected together. The transformer is made by ToroidAudio (Noratel UK) and have no markings regarding voltage. I gues it's possible to convert it by mixing some of these wires, but how??? Anyone that can help me? It sounds like there are only two options if wires are connected together - 110 and 220v. In any case 10v above rated input voltage is not a problem.
