AV amp switching relay

Hi Guys, may i know whether can i remove the main spk relay in my av amp and bypass it with a wire? My amp is a 10yrs old Onkyo TX-SV717PRO. Presently the relay seems to give me sound cuts when i off and on accidentally. Thanks.

Why do you want to remove the relay? If you switch the amp off accidentally, the relay is bound to drop out - but I may have misunderstood what you mean. It is probably part of the amp's speaker protection circuitry, I shouldn't bypass it.
