Hello to all. I picked up a clean, running dynaco 400 amp. Are there any mods that need to be done or any mods that are routinely done to this model? Going to drive it with a phase liner 4000 pre amp & 4 bose 501series4 speakers. Thanks, tom

I remember reading a post by James Bongiorno several years ago. He stated that he was the man behind the Dynaco ST400. The Dynaco ST400 driver stage was based on the Sid Smith designed Marantz 15 and the series output stage was designed by Jame Bongiorno. Check out his interveiw at TNT audio.http://www.tnt-audio.com/intervis/bongiorno_e.html

Ok, thanks.
Also Erno Borbely, owner of Borbely Audio, designed many circuits for Dyna's ground-breaking solid-state components in the 1970s.
