im looking for a schematic for a low level converter---- you take the leads off of a speaker and it converts it to low level signal, for rca input to another amp.. i have a 2 channel amp that i use as my main amp and i want to use another 2 channel amp just for subs--but i dont want to have 2 volumes.. thx

Why don't you use a voltage divider with resistors?
It's easy: use 2 resistors in series (220k and 22k) connect one terminal of the 220k to the speaker(+) and one terminal of the 22k to the speaker (-) join the other terminals of the resistors and connect to the input of the other amplifier. ground is taken from speaker (-) only applicable if the main amp is not bridgedPedro Martins |
