I have a phoenix gold mx1260 home amplifier. It is 60wx12. When I plug in an RCA cable without touching the the ground terminal it picks up a radio station. Any ideas on how I can remove this? This amplifier has always done this. I have the schematics for this amplifier. I though about maybe adding a high frequency coupling capacitor across the source and ground.

Hi,
add a 47pF cap across the input RCA from signal ground to signal input. Add another cap in parallel to the Zin setting resistor. The cap value will depend on the value of the series resistor between RCA and Zin resistor.
