Today i bought myself a puzzle for 20 bucks. Some guy had totally disassembled his Integra 1 year ago when it died for unknown reason. He thought, he'd easily see (!) what's wrong with it. He cut most of the pcb interconnects and when he gave up, he threw it all (well mostly obvious) into a big box.
It took me 3 hours to screw it all together again. I found the bass knob missing and it's pot's axle broken and one part of the bottom of the chassis missing. Some scratches are there, too - but i really want to get it going again.
Does some kind diyer have the service manual for the 8870? I don't want to solder wrong wires together and i think the power amp section is dead. I was told the input selector didn't have the typical problems.
16.7kilos of nippon steel. Please help to get them going again
