Connecting Speakers to Headphone Jack

Hello,

I have a Crown D-45 with a front panel headphone jack. It would be really convenient to plug my speakers into the jack; the rear barrier block connectors are not easily accessible when the unit is in my mobile rack.

So, I made a TRS speaker jack using unshielded wire and connected it to my 8 ohm speakers. It sounds fine but my concern is that headphones have a much higher impedance than speakers, so am I losing tone, or is there any other issue connecting speakers to a headphone jack?

According to:

"The headphone output is unpadded and in parallel with the main amplifier output."
No different from the barrier strip.
