If no good, why? Please, inform the complementary, i have many FETs in my home and i do not know if i can match them to work as complementary. What is the main characteristics i should observe into the datasheet to decide if they can work together? (studing N type and P type). Is this mismatch related drain to source resistance something important to worry about?... some of them, for instance, having 0,47 ohms and others having even lower...or higher resistance. Because of Dudainc kindness and also Anonimous kindness, now a days i have hundreds of power FETs in my home... also BGT power units and drivers. Thank you, regards, Carlos |

These are decent vertical power mosfets. Although originally intended for switching, they will do a fair job in audio amps. The closest equivalents I can think of are IRF240/IRF9240

I cannot imagine that I am gonna say this to YOU, but......Try it! Feedback should take care of whatever non-linearities there might be. Try them in maybe in these: http://www.adam.com.au/cgpap/QuasiWeb/index.htm ...and tell us about it. Henrik |

Can be useful in any N channel MOSFET amplifier.

I'd try to find something that has similar slope in the Vgs-Id characteristic (transconductance).

To the extent that average vertical MOSFETs have complements, try the FQA12P20. Works nicely. Grey |
