this site had one User Manual for Yamaha CR-2020 ( 2.5 MB)
includes one circuit diagram http://www.retrevo.com/samples/Yamaha-manuals.html The diagram quality is not very high, unfortunately.

Sorry, I've never seen one. FYI you can download the service manual for the CR-1020 (similar but lower power) here:
http://www.kallhovde.com/yamaha/ While you're at it, don't forget to download the CR-2020 service bulletin that is there. You could also try asking "merrylander" at AudioKarma.org. He knows vintage Yamaha. He might have a CR-2020 schematic. Good luck Pierre |

bump...
I've got one of these things today, broken of course - mainly because the owner tried to fix a minor 'crackle' in the sound. Am thinking of breaking it up to use the parts on some hobby projects as I need the parts more than I need a receiver - unless of course it turns out that this is a 'gem' of a receiver and it would be criminal to break it up... I'm wondering what there might be that I can reuse - the manual I've downloaded does indeed have a very difficult to read schematic so I can't really be sure what I've got here. There looks to be one JFET at the front end of the tuner section ? The amp looks fairly standard LTP, VAS, EF output.
