quad 606 mk1 problem

recently my quad 606 mk1 start to sound funny, broken sound (low frequentcy) can be heard on the right channel only on certain frequency whlie left channel perfectly normal. I've swapped the speaker cable from left to right and vise versa, it is confirmed that the broken sound coming from only the right channel of the amp.

Please can someone advise what is the problem with the 606?

..... I think it's time to make an upgrade ,first try to change all elco's located an PCB with good quality ones low ESR . PSU have also dryed elco's wich need to replace to, somethyng like that .

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your respond, actually all the e-cap had been changed to audio grade e-cap except the 6800uf power tank. It is really a worth upgrade of the cap as the sound quality improve a lot af the the change, but the broken sound issue remains unsolve.....
