The bias circuit is very bad.
The transistor will eitehr be on or off.
ON is ok but off will blow up your output stage with too much bias voltage.

Note this bias cct is off a MOSFET amp but will be OK for BJT cct too.

I think I see what is going on there..... not sure where it is connected within the circuit though.?????? I am assuming where the current servo is. Am I correct?

Between the bases of the drivers, where the old one is. The 6.8V zener is a little high for an 'emergency stop' for a bipolar amp, though. For mosfet, it's about right.
