Kenwood KA-4040R schematic

Hi all,

A long shot I know, but does anyone have the above schematic?

I've been given the amp to have a look over as it'ss triggering the protection relay, but the owner isn't exactly a friend and I don't want to spend any money. It's just for a quick look over as a favour, no money involved unless parts are needed.

Hi there

first thing to check are little 100uf caps there is one i believe for each channel near the little power driver ic which has its own heatsink, just swap out ,if still acting up check these ic,s for dc voltages,can not exactly remember the number of these ic,s but they use them in sony amps also and when they are faulty they are expensive and possibly obsolete ..good luck
