I have an old Kyocera R851 that has started to make noise. The
left channel has a crackling noise when I first turn on the unit. After a few minutes the noise goes away. I was thinking it could be a cold solder joint or dying output device. I don't know how to trouble shoot something like this so any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

sounds like leakage through a coupling cap. Freezer spray may help find which one.
