Hi,
as it is very hard to find a on/off statement for sound in matter of capacitors and as I found MKC in the audio path, I wanna know if there is any real clear gain in removing my MKC ( Philips seems ) for same capacity russians K40Y-9 PIOs. And maybe some loss anywhere in sounbd quality? Is it worth the 15/20€? Answers should looks like "yes" "yes for all but highs" or even "that'll be huge!" Thanks for guiding me in the dark jungle of capacitors and the endless wish to modify stuff... Matthieu

It would be wrong to tell you my opinion, because it would influence your expectations
This capacitor stuff is highly religious matter - there are believers, heretics... It's a simple modification, just try it and judge it by your own merits It also works for other types of film caps, even for electrolyts. |
