what 2 channel stereo amp for home audio would you recommend? all recommendations are welcome =) also i have a set of custom made 400w rms floor standing speakers i need a 2 channel stereo amp to run them, having big trouble finding something with this power :S any recommendations for that to ?

are your speakers 8ohm impedance?
If yes, then look for a 100W into 8r0 amplifier that is specified to better than 160W into 4r0. This amp will be powered by a PSU running at ~+-50Vdc and use 63Vdc capacitors. It will probably have 2pair of output devices. But 1pair of robust output devices will suffice. If the transformer is between 100VA and 200VA with at least +-10mF of smoothing then it could be worth auditioning. If it's a two channel amp run on a shared PSU then expect the transformer and smoothing values to be doubled.
