It's true!
-40degC = -40degF. What is the fluid used in a +50degC to -50degC thermometer?

How's it going Nico? Having a good 2009 so far? Quote:
I'm not sure what fluid is used but the thermometer is broken now. This leads me to the conclusion that it may have been even COLDER than -36! According to the weather forecast on my email page this morning it is only -27*C today. Normal for here at this time of the year is a bit warmer. |

I am running some tests with RMAA to evaluate (objectively) the performance of this amp.
Results soon... |

As promised. The tests were run at about 3 watts of output power (into 8 ohms). Both channels were tested at the same time and the results are for both.
First the overall scores. Ignore the stereo crosstalk - the attenuator I use has a common ground so it invalidates that test. ![]() Next the THD: ![]() Frequency response: ![]() Noise: ![]() IMD: ![]() Not too shabby, what? I'll take it. |
