P3B experiences?

Has anyone built and/or had the opportunity to listen to Rod Elliot's P3B? I'd be most interested to hear what you think.

Haven't built the P-3B .But have built 2 -2 channel P-101's .They are frikin awesome..

p3a=60W ClassAB.
p3b=25W ClassA.

Is there any difference? From what I saw, P3B is just P3A with the bias increased.

you need to read the two build projects.

The only differences I could read about were the use of heatsinking (including VAS and drivers, not normally done for P3A), and a larger, choke-filtered power supply.

I recently finished a P3B and have previously built a P3A. This blog page has some "listening impressions" (of sorts) at the bottom: Audio Projects Class-A Power Amplifier Mk II
