studiomaster schematics

hello.....

have any engineers got the studiomaster cd rom with all the old schematics on it? i did have them all on a previous hard drive....

these were all freely available on the internet until a couple of years ago, now someone is charging $20 each for the same schematics...come on guys the internet is all about sharing and helping each other.....if anyone has the original rom lets share it !

i used to have them on paper but like you 'i lost them', did not know about the cd rom you refer to sounds interesting.

i have bought a few diagrams from the guy on the net, and i must say that the service was excelent high quality and reasonable £12 for a mixer diagram was the last one i recieved.

there is loads of the studiomaster kit giving good service out there, it would be fantastic to get hold of this cd rom i would be prepared to cover any costs for a copy.

I dont doubt the guy offers excellent service, for something that was free to start with, we should all pull together and sort this silly schematic situation out, time we pooled our knowledge....

I agree, £12 for a download is too much in my opinion. I don't mind paying a bit for bandwidth and for time taken putting the library together but like krmaudio says, they are selling information that was free and belonged to Studiomaster. If I find a schematic, I put it up on Service Manual free download,schematics,datasheets,eeprom bins,pcb,repair info for test equipment and electronics who seem to cover their costs by advertising. There are a few older studiomasters on there but not the newer PowerHouse 1000x-10 that I am looking for. I have one that the Alt 3-4 peak light is on all the time.
