Does anyone know where I can get service docs for a soundcraft Gigrac 100st powered mixer? I've emailed the company and nothing yet.

I know it won't help you, but I have found Soundcraft to be a particularly rude and unhelpful company when it comes to supporting 'small' end users. Of all companies I've ever tried to talk to, they were the most obnoxious.

Hi Barry:

I sent email to U.K and I rec'd schematics for 600 and 1000, They were very nice and friendly.

I had both schematics unfortunately my Hard drive crashed and lost everything.

what is wrong with your amp? Power amp or offline switcher problem?

Default U.S.A. branch rules

Well I had sent my inquiry email to the service techs in the U.K. 3 days ago and got nothing. Today I found the email for Rick Morris the U.S.A. Customer Service Technical Support contact which HPNAservice at harman dot com and he sent me the schems in less than an hour. Audiohead, the problem was no output on channel B but it turned out to be a bad connection on the phone jack on that channel. Thanks for the response. If you want the schems let me know.

The Soundcraft techs are very busy servicing kit at the moment. I know, as I just sent it to them.

Default gigrac 1000 power supply problem

Hi all, I'm new here and I also would love the schematics for the gigrac 1000.
When I turn it on the lights blink for a sec, the fans turn sluggishly for a few secs, then it shuts down....................it will keep doing this every 10 seconds or so by itself.
Any ideas of where to start looking and where to get the schematics?
Thanx!!!!!!!
Bob

Default Gigrac turns on then shuts down

I just picked up a gigrac 300 and had the same issue, powers up, lights come on, fans spin, then it shuts down. I pulled the power leads to the amp board, and it spun right up and then said protect but stayed running. further investigation turned up a bad MJ15024 transistor. recomend you desolder all the transistor leads and verify you don't have a shorted one. a solder vacuum does the trick well and once you pull the solder since the leads are centered they are isolated and easy to test.
