Does not look like a very sophisticated design to me. I don't remember if I've ever seen zeners as frontent voltage regulators. A fet for a source follower was maybe to expensive
Any way, build it if you like it. Have fun, Hannes

i build one similar but bipolars in the output.
20w rms and regulatorsin ci and drivers sound good and cheap
