No spice models that I have seen can be taken as accurate, Andyc a member here has significantly improved some output transistor models to be quite accurate. The rest well....... Its very time consuming to do just one single model and we can be thankful he looked at some, as most are terrible.
The models I gave were placed in this forum. Thats a very good transistor, sims will display superior performance compared to other transistors. However, whether accurate youll have to test them and run some hfe|IC and IC vbe sims and compare to datasheets. BTW in some of those spice programs I have found the most unaccurate models, you cannot take for granted that those companies did the modelling, they only supply what the manufacturers give and whats out there on the web. One sometimes find 7 different models for a single transistor, which one is the most accurate ???? Only by testing one can tell. The japanese manufacturers dont even supply models so whats out there was most probably done by privates. |
