convert a NAP180 into a NAP250
The title is my intend. but i am a bloody amateur. afaik here are many experienced guys, so please let me know:
1. is the conversion possible? 2. how has done that? 3. what about avondaling? thanx in advance |

1) Yes. Probably not sensible.
2) Look at the Neil McBride website for circuits. The 250 has regulated supplies; the 180 a smaller conventional supply. 3) Avondale make many products and kits. What particular thing did you have in mind? |

If the NAP160 NAP250 compariosn i did years ago is any indication then you would need a pair of regulators and a large higher voltage transformer.
You might well be better off starting from scratch & just building a NAP250 clone. dave
