convert a NAP180 into a NAP250
 

The title is my intend. but i am a bloody amateur. afaik here are many experienced guys, so please let me know:

1. is the conversion possible?
2. how has done that?
3. what about avondaling?

1) Yes. Probably not sensible.
2) Look at the Neil McBride website for circuits. The 250 has regulated supplies; the 180 a smaller conventional supply.
3) Avondale make many products and kits. What particular thing did you have in mind?

If the NAP160 NAP250 compariosn i did years ago is any indication then you would need a pair of regulators and a large higher voltage transformer.

You might well be better off starting from scratch & just building a NAP250 clone.
