hii all
i need to bridge the STK4141V it is a 2 channels amp 25W RMSx2
i want to bridge the chip to 1 channel of 1x50 how i do that ?!

you should be aware that bridging causes the current flow to double. An 8 ohm speaker will look like a 4 ohm speaker and a 4 ohm will look like a 2 ohm etc. You will have to ensure that you do not exceed the current rating of the chip and either lower the supply voltage or use a load that would not cause the current to exceed the limit.
Apart from that the easiest way to bridge is to provide the second chip with an inverted signal. It can also be done by using the second amp in inverting mode.I am not sure if this chip will allow that.

You have to use a bridging adapter like the one on Rod's site.

Oh yes, remember the STK series does not like 4 ohm loads unless very very well heatsunk and operating off a suitably low voltage.

Therefore you will need to keep the chip happy when it delivering twice its power - or your chip will blow. Drop a little secondary voltage - 5V per rail less is what you're looking at, and use 16 ohm output speakers...

the stk can be bridged without a seperate adaptor.atleast at my place people are doing it for sub -woofers.

u can try 4191 also.it is rated at 50 w per channel.and costs the same price.
please let me have ur mail id so that i wud be in a position to post a schematic of the circuit.

i connect wrong the + to - and - to + ... big mistake....

now i have a STK4151V....... it is for the car... i build a volt upper.. from 10-14V to 35+/- 15A....

it is very strong for car !

+/- 35 volts at 15 amps. That is a 1000 watt output power
converter. I want to see pictures. Otherwise i just plain
won't believe you.

While you are at it, lets see pictures of the amplifier too.
