We have an RCF DCA1050 stereo power amp, they have a spec sheet rating of 2 x 500W into 4ohms, 2 x 310W into 8ohms. It also says Bridged mono: 1000W into 8ohms and Parallel Mono 1000W into 2ohms.
Does 'parallel mono' mean we can connect the L&R output terminals together to drive a mono load? There's a Parallel Mono slide switch at the rear but I think it just feeds the signal received by Ch1 into the preamp for Ch2. Advice gratefully received!! Thanks, Kev |
