Hi,
i have come across a couple of 50V / 1.8A power supplies. I'm not sure what they were used for but they aren't the cheap wallwart types. I'm assuming some kind of printer or computer application. They work. Question: is there any ampilfier project i can use them for. I guess the low voltage rules out tube projects, ..but perhaps a simple headphone amp or a linestage??? ideas / links wanted ???? thanks

Hi zobsky!!
Why not tu use two of them in series and get a +50, 0, -50 volts rails.. With that you can even make a power amplifier!! Regards

interesting, ...that is a possibility but is the 1.8A rating sufficient (excuse me for the novice questions?)?
thanks |
