Any Technics modders here ?

I had a JVC amp of this caliber and increased the main amp's
capacitance (big black ones) after that it had more punch (bass)

Also , I noticed your small blue aux power caps (right under
black ones) are showing signs of age (Heat) not a problem now
but better to change them.

Your amp has a large transformer . I stole one out of a technics
integrated amp similar to yours to run my DIY sub amp with.

I,ve looked up the caps and ones to fit EXACTLY are available
up to 15,000 uf.
???? what is the UF/voltage/ MM diameter of your caps ???

If it works good those are the only mods one should attemp on it.

Yes the main idea is changing most of the caps, just at the moment - those are 12 000 uf - 71 V - i`m planing to go there with 15 000 or more , but they are rare on those volts. Yes the blue caps are going away, trying to find some Nichicon`s here ( without any luck till this moment )
It works exelent but i don`t like the sound and i think there is a problem with some of the caps.
