here is a picture of the 2SC 5200 transistors i try to use in a wonderfull sziklai ( god bless this guy !!!!!! ) i am producing the latest days ....

where i buy semis i usually go together with a hummer ..... i buy one transitor i walk out of the company hummer it then get back inside and explain them that they sell bull**** to people ....

then either i try with another type/brand of transistor or just scream to the guy as much is possible .....

so far i returned 12+12 MJ 15003-4 all short circuited as come out directly from my P68 MJ15003-4 version

and also tomorow i will return 8+8 2SA1943 -SC 5200

they will have to accept them back othewise they will have to talk to my lawyer

belive it or not it works that way in this company ......

by the way the sziklai works like f****ing hell pictures and wave forms in few days

amplifier i am playing with latelly

it worked perfectly at 8R load but with 4 it lasted about a few seconds quiet normal considering 60 volt rails and this type of transistors installed .....

will replace with good ones any day now and then i will post pictures schematic and wave forms ....

the schematic i am working with is the hill chameleon ( with a few mods as always )

No need for a hammer: just test beta VS current and tell them politely that transistors they sell are way out of specs.

so i went there explained what happent , showed them cracked open transistors ... and they offered money back or same value products ....

so for 8+8 2SA1943 and 5200 i got 11 eleven caps 10000 mfd/63V from nippon ....

rather nice i think but nobody will pay for my time to replace transitors or 15 euros fuel that takes to drive there plus 5.4 euros high way toll ....

at least they did something about it .....may be others should do the same ....

At least the supplier there respects and knows about these fake transistors, here they tell you you are a idiot that knows nothing about transistor manufacturing

i have to first finish installing new transistors and then find out what else went to mars except outs from last night's boooooom


as we speak aslo there is a few things that i dont like about this amp and i am trying to fix .....i will post pictures any day now together with wave forms and overall results .....

schematic though i will post but not now ..... i will post that after real life tests and small pa abuse

Is the Chameleon the respected 1U case professional amp? If so I would love to see a schematic. I thought they were MOSFET though.
