Can you please help? A friend left the unit here and asked me to produce some examination. It is not switching one... as soon as you switch on the protection relay enters. I have removed the output emitter resistances to check if this will allow the unit to power on...and negative. Well... the equipment is very complex, and i am lost looking at it. If you can help me with schematic of manual, please, help me.... this is not a business.... a friend asked...it is a for free procedure. Here is the image: ![]()

.. so...if the protection senses off set (burned transistors of circuit unballances) will not sense voltage there and protection will not enter into operation. Seems there are other things to seach for.... i have removed the 5 channels emitter resistances and protection relay still enters.... so, other problems remains. HELP! regards, Carlos

Hi Carlos,
that corrosion is plain crazy!! Do all amps become like that in Brazil? Have fun, Hannes

Water temperature around 25 degrees Celsius and a really big quantity of salt into this watter.... 500 kilometers north direction people use to produce salt evaporating water under the sunligth. Interesting, the first 5 stages into appartment building are much more corroded.... i was living 16th floor and had no corrosion at all. This equipment is not mine...the guy leaves third floor in front of the ocean...it seems this equipment is not too much old...maybe 3 years old maximum in my evaluation...boards are corroded, not only wire jumpers...under the green paint i could see copper lines corroded. Well.... oxide happens into all places...but high humidity, nearby ocean...high temperatures that allow enormous evaporation, strong winds to replace the air surrounding object fast acelerates the whole process. Appartment glasses needs to be cleaned withing 3 days space between cleaning.... you can feel into your fingers the salt into the windows...because of that our window frames are made of anodized aluminium.... weels made of nylon... cannot use iron or steel here. regards, Carlos

Observe what is happening with those resistances....one year more and the leads will broke. I said must remove transformers and all stuff that cannot receive watter and clean the unit..... and after dried apply oil, to protect a little, or some kind of insulating varnish... the owner said he prefere not to have the unit cleaned. Well.... he will have unit corroded in one year or a little bit more. People has beliefs... this is the problem....you know... "water and electricity cannot go together"....forbidden!.... people forget that water and electricity can be applied into different times...not the same time.... and you cannot explain that, because people will feel ofended....because you prove they failled into their intelligence use when having those worries... bad analisis! ahahahaha. Carlos

The guy is a friend. In two years the equipment will be a junk...and will go to my own junk yard...and then i will have transformers, power transistors, heatsinks and some Alps potenciometers.... some relays. I told him...so...i am not quilty!.... already have explained him the unit will end into my trash box because of oxide! regards, Carlos
