Something for our friend in Israel
Mikael Bladelius from Sweden has designed the worlds most powerful home theatre amp.
The amp is called Bladelius Grendel. Data: Power supply: 8500 VA SMPS 5 x 400 8 ohms, all channels driven! 5 x 800 4 ohms, all channels driven! 5 x 1600 2 ohms, all channels driven!!!!!! Weight: 34 kg!! (extremely light) Very nice case, non-plastic!! Anybody who has more info? |

I can understand that nobody has any comments about this amp. Mikael Bladelius strongest side isn't promotion. Why hasn't he got anything at his homepage? Why hasn't he mentioned at all his HUGE amp, 250 kg!!! I saw at an exhibition (Hifi-mässan Arken, Gothenburg)? Nevertheless he designs really beautiful, both inside and outside. Many nice RIFA caps and "Toroid"(=brand name) transformers.

Check out the Lab Gruppen amps for serious power. A Swedish made, 10 kg, 2 channel amp that puts out at 3200 Watts per channel into 2 ohm loads (or 6400 watts bridged into a 4 ohm load).

I think Mr Bladelius' product is regarded as a high fidelity amp, not a PA amp. As I said it looks really nice, very "industrial". If you this amp DJ, you just have to hand over the money :no:
