Default Sony amp Ta-n611 output prob

I have a sony rack system. Both LEFT speaker outputs (a and b) produce sound but it it full of static almost to the point where that is all you hear. The Right sides are fine. Can anyone give me advice as to what the problem is and how to repair it?
