I have an old Onkyo A-10 stereo amp that was working great a week ago. I moved last week and now it seems the amp is activating it's protection circuit right after being powered on. I disconnected my speakers to make sure there wasn't a short in the speaker wires. In normal operation, the protection circuit is active for a second or so when the amp is first powered on. There is an LED indicating that the circuit is active. Now when the amp is powered on, the protection circuit is active, but when the circuit would normally shut off and allow power to the speakers, the amp shuts off altogether. I don't have the Owner's manual so I don't have any idea what might be the problem. If any of you have any idea what could have happened, I would appreciate it.

Hello,
It seems that at this place there is a service manual available for the Onkyo A-10: http://www.nodevice.com/manual/Onkyo.html Good luck, Peter |
