My Rotel just died

Iv and got a Rotel RA820A and when I switched it on this morning the left channel is completly dead. No warning it all worked perfectly last night Im not given to listen at high vol so I cant think why it would have died. Does anyone have a pointer as to where to start with problem solving this one?

I have to ask... Did you check the fuses?

Yup it has a blown fuse.

If it has seen quite a few years of use then in all likelihood the fuse has just blown from being "tired"... and a new fuse will cure it. it might be worth putting new fuses in everywhere in that case.

However if it blows a fuse again, there is a problem.

Yup Im going down to Jaycar today with all 3 to get replacements
